(<em>A very bold move , which will most certainly not be forgotten by the Kremlin.</em>)    </font> </li><li><font face="Arial" size="2">The UN has finally admitted that Iran is NOW capable of producing a nuclear weapon.  The only hold up now, and it is just a matter of "months", is the appropriate missile delivery system. (<em>Will Israel attack?  For the moment it seems likely, but I don't know.  If this does happen, can we imagine the uproar this will cause, and the outrage that this will create within the walls of the Kremlin</em>?) </font> </li><li><font face="Arial" size="2">It has been reported that Obama is now (and I quote)  "fed up" with Israel, over the Israeli/Palestinian peace issues and Israel's currently firm position to not budge on settlements.</font> </li><li><font face="Arial" size="2">The Catholic Archbishop of Moscow is claiming that Orthodox and Catholic unity is in sight, <strong>and possibly only a few months away</strong>.  </font> </li><li><font face="Arial" size="2">Jewish/Catholic relations are on a downward spiral, as the Catholic church under the leadership of Ratzinger has been rapidly reversing (within the past few months) goodwill policies towards the Jews that have been enacted since the 1960's.  "The Church" had at one time officially recognized the Jews eternal relationship with God through the Mosaic covenant; Genusa is desperately trying to share with all Christadelphians. I find it to be one of the hardest doctrines I have ever encountered <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>in my lifetime (and finally grasped after much help and patience- Im not the brightest); and only equal in complexity to (and quite possibly greater than) the false teachings of Christendom I once embraced, and overcame due to the love, patience, and concern of others, and not because of my intellectual abillities . With the Truth presented before me in opposition to these lies, I had plenty of thoughts on how and why anyone believing such rubbish as the Christadelphians believe, was definitely far from God. In my mind, I was convinced that I could show Christadelphians where their beliefs would lead them, and where they went wrong. But there was a problem. They had verses, and I had only my intuition and gut feelings. They had validation from the Scriptures on their side, and I had only logic applied to preconceived notions on my side, or better yet, against me. The difficulty of grasping the subjects I contemplated lay in my prejudice, and not in the complexity of the material. Mans soul is mortal, they said. But I heard, Man will die forever. What silliness, I thought. I could teach them a thing or two. If mans destiny is death, then you mock our Father! But, recognizing, and truthfully admitting, that I knew nothing of the Scriptures, I listened, and learned. Mans destiny was not death after all; but it took time, and many internal battles, for my prejudices to be defeated. </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>I have recently found myself in a similar situation, and forced once again to face my own prejudices. A man proclaims that the understanding and practice of Fellowship Institutions today, are not the same as the Apostles Fellowship, as taught and practiced by them, as well as by Bros. Thomas and Roberts. The Pioneers, he claims, were in Fellowship after the example of the Apostles. Today, he insists, Fellowship Institutions are not patterned after the Apostolic conduct. He issues warnings for our safety, and all who hear him proclaim his motives true, but not his doctrine. Hes not empty handed; he has proof, not only from the Pioneers and other Brethren, but also from the Scriptures, which some mistakenly deny. He has lots of proof, in fact, an overwhelming amount of proof. In reviewing his proof, one prejudicial thought continually justifies my position of not accepting his doctrine. He is in Central, and therefore, he has united himself with error, I reason with myself. Problem solved. However, there is a problem, actually, several problems. My conscience will not let me believe otherwise; and with the same conscience that listened to Truth many years ago. First, I must be truthful and admit that everywhere on his website he strongly asserts that he will withdraw from error. There is plenty on his site to corroborate this. Second, I have to ask myself in all fairness, what has his actions to do with the teachings of Bros. Thomas, Roberts, and the Scriptures? A man may violate what he understands another to teach, but his violations do not negate the teaching. His claim of what they teach stand on their own merits, and not upon his faithfulness, or hypocrisy. In other words, How Bro. Genusa behaves, doesnt alter the meaning of the Pioneers writings, nor the Scriptures, from both of which, he incessantly quotes and appeals to. At this point, Im starting to realize my prejudices are not as dead as I believed. I have not considered his doctrine at all, but rather judged his proof based on something other than his proof, namely, I have judged his proof on how I think he should act according to my understanding of Fellowship. I have been unfair. To refute proof, it must be understood. I must dig deeper and scrutinize more closely the Pioneer writings, the other Brethren he quotes, and the Scriptures. Third, after Bro. Genusa courageously called me first (I was not courageous enough to call first), I was able to determine that he does in fact withdraw from error, and in his estimation, and by his understanding, in accordance with Scripture and the Pioneers. </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>Then it dawns on me: my understanding of Fellowship is different from his. My biased views of Fellowship will not allow me to define what he is doing as being in Fellowship. By my prejudicial standard, for him to be in Fellowship, he must withdraw from Central, and join another Fellowship Institution. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>He maintains this was not the case in the early Ecclesias, or in the days of the pioneers, after Bro. Thomas rediscovered the Truth. They withdrew from error, but did not start a new Fellowship Group, after withdrawing (withdrawing is always done in an effort to save life, when Apostolically obeyed, of course). According to Bro. Genusa, by obediently withdrawing from error, believers remain in the Apostles Fellowship, with the Apostles, Christ, Yahweh, and the other faithful Brethren. Joining another Fellowship Institution, he maintains, is not the same as the Apostles Fellowship. </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>I have noticed that some explain in detail Bro. Genusas beliefs with one breath, and then declare their ignorance of his beliefs with the next. I shall not point the finger, for I too am severely guilty. However, I ask all, should this continue? Is this Scriptural? I am ready to do what should have been done to begin with, namely, honestly try to understand Bro. Genusas points, ascertain the Pioneers understanding on this vital subject, and then compare this understanding with Scripture. I intend to obey Scripture. I prize the Pioneer writings, for they have opened the Scriptures to my sight. We all make this claim, do we not? I am ready to approach Bro. Genusa for a better explanation when in doubt, before I explain today what he believes, and then tomorrow confess I know not what he believes. Brethren, lets be fair. If we admit we do not understand him, we are in no position to explain, or contest his beliefs. </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>I believe Bro. Genusas points are the following, and if they are not, please inform me as to what you believe they are. I welcome Bro. Genusas criticism. Remember, if you do not know, please do not attempt to explain them, but please do join in the effort to understand him. After all, most of what he has written are quotes from the Pioneer Brethren and the Scriptures, which I am extremely interested in understanding. Thomas and Roberts completely understood the need to withdraw from error, for the sake of the sinner, as well as for the sake of the faithful. (It is the way prescribed by Yahweh to stop sin, and yet at the same time reach out to the sinner). However, would they withdraw from error and begin a new group, and then chose a new name? Thomas did withdraw from error, and he did choose a new name, Christadelphians, not Christadelphian Fellowship.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </SPAN>Bro. Thomas based his understanding of the word Fellowship on Scriptures only, which means he understood the word to mean one of two things. First, to him it meant Fellowship with the Apostles, Christ, Yahweh, and other <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">faithful Brethren. </I>Second, it meant fellowship with only other unfaithful men. (See Bro. Thomas and Roberts were aware that all Ecclesias are composed of those who obey Yahweh (and are therefore in the Apostles Fellowship), and those who do not obey Yahweh, but rather their own thinking, Scripturally styled the thinking of the flesh (these are in the fleshs fellowship). </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>4) This means that not all within an Ecclesia are in Fellowship with Yahweh, only those who love and obey Him. From this Scriptural fact alone, it is understandable why Bro. Thomas chose the name Christadelphian, and did not include Fellowship, in the name as we do today. To him, Fellowship implies the Apostles Fellowship, and appended to the name Christadelphian <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">(Christadelphian Fellowship)</I>, the phrase describes the few who overcome in recent times since Bro. Thomas day, and not to the entire group. In Bro. Thomas mind, <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Christadelphian Fellowship </I>implies that all the members of the group are in Fellowship with Yahweh, which, according to Bro. Thomas, is not true. Hence, he never used this term to identify all the called out ones, which he knew are composed of faithful and unfaithful believers. He had his reasons for naming us <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Christadelphians</I>, and he had his Scriptural reasons for not calling Christadelphians a <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Fellowship.</I></FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P><P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>5) One of the questions Bro. Genusa asks all of us is this, Is it harmful to view and practice <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Fellowship as we do today? Truthfully, his proof powerfully demonstrates we do practice and use the term Fellowship in a manner unlike the Apostles and the Pioneer Brothers. It is also a fact that the Apostles and the Pioneers were against any kind of union between Ecclesias, and for obvious reasons. When Ecclesias band together, they lose their independence, and therefore, they lose the ability to safeguard against error, one for the other. That is the whole reason for Ecclesial independence; each Ecclesia is supposed to be a watchman.
